What may be the first view of your new garden

 

Build it yourself

For those people who want to build their garden themselves but want some assistance in the design and planning, we can help in a number of ways:

Provision  of overall design drawings to show the layout of the proposed garden

Advice in the planning of any construction work including any drawings that might be needed

Advice on soil improvement

Help with planning the planting including planting plans if required

Help in sourcing materials and plants including calculation of quantities required.

Clients can choose just how much input is required as they go through the process and someone will be available either by phone or e-mail to answer questions as they arise. This can be a cost effective method of creating a garden for those who have the time and the energy to get physically involved. Even if you want the heavy building work carried out by landscape contractors, you can still plant the garden yourself and then watch your handiwork grow year after year.

Photographs on this page are of a current project which is being carried out largely by the clients own hands with some input from contractors where the clients feel their skills are insufficient.  As the project progresses, more photographs will be added.
